Mixed Tax Role in Cardiff

Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment Specialists are working with a leading regional firm of accountants & tax advisers to recruit a Mixed Tax Supervisor/Assistant Manager for their growing tax consultancy team in Cardiff.

The team undertakes a range of tax work, including:

  • Tax enquiry support
  • Corporate and property transaction tax advisory services
  • Business restructure advice
  • Specific tax advice on matters such as clearances, share schemes, SEIS/EIS investments, exit planning, R&D, and capital allowances
  • Private client tax advice on tax residence status, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing complex personal, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by other team members
  • Supporting the team with other tax filings throughout the year, including P11d's, PSAs, ATED, Form 42, and EMI40 returns

The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified CTA or ACA and possess relevant managerial skills, mixed tax knowledge, and technical expertise.

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Senior or Assistant Manager to develop their skills and career within a leading independent firm.

Ideally, you will be CTA/ACCA/ACA/ATT Qualified with relevant tax experience within a practice environment.

The Cardiff office is commutable from areas across South Wales, including Cardiff Gate, Newport, Swansea, Bristol, Pontypridd, and Port Talbot.
