Assistant Store Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Bonmarche in Romford. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the store manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring costs are contained within targets.
  • Maximize store profitability by promoting sales and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and skills.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role, with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
