Operations Director Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our expanding team at Candidate Source Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing process improvements, and ensuring the organization's goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage operational teams, providing direction and leadership, aligning activities with organizational goals, and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Oversee operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and resources.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, guide, and mentor team leaders, providing clear direction, collaboration, and teamwork, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective communication between departments.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products and services meet or exceed established standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively, coordinating with customers and teams to deliver satisfactory resolutions.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze, anticipate, and forecast trends and patterns of the company and marketplace to identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing measures for improvement while maintaining operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Extensive experience in the role or in a similar role.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in service delivery within the IT software industry, ideally within an ERP SaaS software supplier, such as Oracle/NetSuite, Business Central, SAP, etc.
  • Scaling Experience: Experience of scaling departments within a growing business.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, identifying problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions.
  • Software Familiarity: Familiarity with various business software, e.g., ERP, CRM, project management tools.
  • Implementation Experience: Implementation experience in ISO27001 & ISO9001.
