About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer to contribute to our Research and Development team in London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in chemical processes and hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize chemical processes and formulations to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct research and design experiments to support product development initiatives.
  • Analyze experimental data using statistical tools, including MS Excel Pivot Tables, to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception through to implementation.
  • Document and present research findings, both in technical reports and during team meetings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and interns as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a chemical environment.
  • Strong understanding and experience in design of experiments (DOE).
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including use of Pivot Tables for data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
