Your Role: Data Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic development team. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines within our high-volume data & AI environment. Collaborate with talented individuals, embracing the latest tools, techniques, and technologies to fuel your professional growth and innovation within our agile development ecosystem.

  • Design, Build, and Maintain Data Pipelines: You will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines that form the backbone of our analytics, machine learning, and product features.
  • Enhance Our Data Lake and Warehouse: Contribute to the expansion and optimization of our Data Lake and Data Warehouse, enabling data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Develop High-Performance Data Platforms: Develop highly efficient and well-tuned data platforms and products to ensure top performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay abreast of emerging data engineering trends, recommending and implementing new technologies and tools to enhance our data processing capabilities.
  • Ensure Code Quality: Implement unit tests with comprehensive coverage and maintain code analysis standards for optimal quality assurance.
  • Champion Secure Design Principles: Adhere to secure design principles and policies in accordance with Information Security standards.

Your Skillset:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with API development using Python frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • Expertise in implementing programming best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
  • Experience developing and supporting robust, automated, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Understanding of data modeling and schema design.
