About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled tax professional to take on a leadership role within a dynamic and growing tax advisory business. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing workflow, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing technical support to junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage tax advisory projects, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to junior members of the team, using tax legislation, HMRC guidance, and case law.
  • Client Relationships: Manage and communicate with key stakeholders, including accountants, lawyers, and financial advisors.
  • Progress Updates: Ensure clients are kept up to date on project progress.
  • Technical Review: Perform a technical review of project advisory work, prior to partner sign off.
  • Leadership: Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality, and service delivery.
  • Business Development: Be involved in business development and proposal activity.
  • Team Management: Manage teams and coach and develop staff.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA or CTA qualified with strong private client or OMB tax advisory experience and a minimum of 5 years PQE.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, technical strength in private client/OMB tax advisory matters, and a high level of drive and enthusiasm.
