Apprentice LGV Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Connect Appointments. As a HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic repairs, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and quality in the work completed. This includes relining brake pads, changing airbags, replacing valves, and more. You will also be required to comply with time recording procedures and ensure that job cards are completed accurately. Any other duties required to keep the workshop running effectively will also be part of your responsibilities. The successful HGV Mechanic will have previous experience of maintenance work on trailers, tankers, and other types of units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out diagnostic repairs and maintenance work on HGVs, trailers, and tankers * Ensure high accuracy and quality in work completed * Comply with time recording procedures and complete job cards accurately * Perform other duties as required to keep the workshop running effectively * Collaborate with the team to achieve workshop goals and objectives
Requirements:
* Previous experience of maintenance work on trailers, tankers, and other types of units * Strong diagnostic and repair skills * Ability to work accurately and efficiently * Good communication and teamwork skills * Ability to comply with time recording procedures and complete job cards accurately
