Job Description

We are working with a leading firm that is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team during their busiest period. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, grow as part of a highly skilled team, and effectively meet the required targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that picking and shipping output and quality is maximized.
  • Ensure products are picked correctly and efficiently according to the order form.
  • Ensure adherence to any company policies and Standard Operating Procedures set out by the company.
  • Assist the Despatch Supervisor in carrying out regular stock checks to ensure finished product numbers are in line with the ERP system.
  • Replenish stock in the despatch warehouse when required, highlighting any stock shortages or discrepancies.
  • Collect stock from the production department as and when required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
  • Helping with end of day tasks such as, bagging up of parcels, and moving cages.
  • Liaising with customer services regarding issues with orders.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse experience is essential.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Previous exposure working with scanners.
  • Previous experience processing and booking out stock would be advantageous.
  • Ability to converse confidently with all levels of the business.
  • Having a positive attitude to work and being a good team player.
  • Having a good eye for detail.
