The Role
- To perform planned and breakdown maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and breakdown work on production equipment, adhering to established schedules and protocols.
- To diagnose and repair mechanical faults, utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- To minimize any downtime and ensure seamless production operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
- To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, equipment performance, and any issues encountered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment performance issues, implementing solutions to improve overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of production equipment, including operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
