About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client's team. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine and scheduled maintenance on commercial gas systems, diagnosing and repairing faults in gas systems and appliances, and performing regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance: Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance on commercial gas systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems and appliances, ensuring minimal downtime for the client.
  • Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections and risk assessments on commercial gas installations and appliances.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining repairs and maintenance processes clearly and professionally.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including reports on inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Training and Development: Stay up to date with industry developments and attend training sessions as required to maintain and enhance skills.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Must hold relevant gas safe qualifications such as Gas Safe Registration and ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Education: Relevant technical or vocational training in gas engineering.
  • Driving License: Valid UK driving license, as the role may require travel between sites.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with commercial gas systems.
