About the Role
The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cardiographer to join our Cardiac Physiology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients, working closely with our Cardiology Consultants, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing ambulatory analyses and reporting, including ECG, ambulatory monitoring, and physiologist-led exercise tolerance tests.
- Supporting the Cardiac Physiologist in exercise tolerance tests and other diagnostic procedures.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive range of non-invasive investigations, including ECG, ambulatory monitoring, and physiologist-led exercise tolerance tests.
- Working closely with our Cardiology Consultants, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participating in the development and implementation of new diagnostic procedures and technologies.
Requirements
- SCST Certificate in ECG or SCST Diploma in ECG or Level 4 Healthcare Science Apprenticeship in Cardiology.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Cardiographer or experience in diagnosing cardiac arrhythmias within a medical healthcare role, such as a Paramedic or Nursing role.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A proven record of working to a high standard and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
