Job Title: Project Manager - Transportation Division

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Transportation Division at AtkinsRéalis. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of work packages that form part of the overall highway delivery, including highway improvement and maintenance schemes. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other professionals to ensure project governance is adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality project and programme management standards.
  • Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks, and issues.
  • Pricing up and initiating schemes.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent stakeholder and alliance relationships.
  • Producing monthly reports, including project programmes, spend profiles, and risk registers.
  • Implementing effective and efficient communication tools.
  • Positively influencing the internal team and seeking to add value.
  • Ensuring project deliverables are within scope, budget, and programme.
  • Change control.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • APMQ, PMP, Prince 2, or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, a good track record of project management in structure maintenance or highways.

Essential Criteria:

  • Appropriate previous experience of working in this field.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multidisciplinary teams or work independently.
  • Ability to innovate and implement new ideas.
  • Experience managing change.
  • NEC 3 or NEC 4 experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to report financial and progress information to client audiences.
  • Ability to assess and resolve resource planning and coordination issues.
  • Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Network effectively, negotiate well, and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
