Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Flight Operations Director to join our leadership team at Ascend Airways. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with CAA regulations and other relevant legislation, and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Incident Management: Investigate and manage incidents involving our fleet, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Health and Safety: Champion health and safety standards, and lead by example to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on departmental performance and progress to senior management.
- Relationship Management: Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, third parties, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Boeing Pilot, with a strong background in flight operations leadership and senior management.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, strategic, and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of aviation regulations and compliance.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in aviation or a related field.
