Senior Electrical Engineer

West Chester, OH (Cincinnati area)

Onsite initially with the potential for 2-3 days of remote work once acclimated.

This role will be a part of our Modernization Team and will be responsible for the design of low and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and associated equipment in compliance with IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and NEC/NFPA 70E standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and coordinate electrical control and protection schemes for low and medium-voltage switchgear equipment, including interfaces and interconnections for new as well as existing retrofill and retrofit applications.
  2. Manage overall project delivery and production/installation schedule, including:
    1. initial quotation technical support
    2. customer interaction and correspondence
    3. generation of electrical Bill of Materials (BOMs)
    4. production and on-site drawing/instruction packages
    5. factory/on-site Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs)
    6. O&M manuals submittals/deliverables and project close-out
    7. final job cost analysis.
  3. Lead on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of switchgear line-ups and sub-assemblies for high-demand industrial facilities.
  4. Support production and quality assurance teams for manufacturing excellence.
  5. Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure performance and reliability.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  2. 4 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience is required.
  3. Experience in electrical design of Power Systems or Power Distribution products, or related occupation. (Switchgear / Switchboard or other power distribution products)
  4. Manufacturing experience.
