Stock Controller Job Description

Culina Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Stock Controller to join our Operations team at our Skelmersdale site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
  • Monitor Autostore inbound delivery screen to ensure compliance with network KPI of loads started within 24 hours of arriving on site, completed within 5 hours of start.
  • Work with operational staff to ensure all issues relating to inbound deliveries are captured at source and actioned immediately or, mismatched back to the issuing site using the correct procedure.
  • Ensure, where feasible, in conjunction with operations, that cross-offs are kept to a minimum.
  • Any outbound orders that require rework are completed in a timely fashion and do not impact on customer service. And that where appropriate paperwork is completed.
  • Responsible for, in conjunction with shift managers, the controlling of any re-stack pallets and associated adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Able to manage their own time to achieve daily targets.
  • Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and tenacity.
  • Experience of Autostore WMS.
  • SAP experience desirable but not essential.
