Job Details

Job Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and delivering high-quality provision for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake administrative and organisational processes to support the teacher and ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
  • Deliver consistently good or better provision for our children, working closely with the teacher and other support staff.
  • Provide support to children with special educational needs, ensuring their individual needs are met and they have access to the same opportunities as their peers.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and safety of all children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar setting, preferably in a teaching or support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the school and its children.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
