Job Overview

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a highly motivated and qualified STEM Tutor to join our team at a partner Secondary School in Richmond. As a STEM Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic potential in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and mentoring to students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to close knowledge gaps and improve student attainment
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
  • First-Class or 2:1 classification in a STEM-related degree subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Excellent A-Levels and GCSE grades
  • Ambitions of qualifying as a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics Teacher in the future
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
