Job Title: Product Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the future product evolution for our Public Safety Forensics product(s). As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for managing a set of products or product lines over their life cycle, from ideation to development, launch, sale, and discontinuance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential products for the Public Safety sector and conduct market research to develop suitable product strategy documentation.
- Generate product requirements at Roadmap and EPIC levels, determining specification, product life cycles, pricing, and time-integrated plans.
- Ensure products maximize revenue opportunities through modularity, enabling deployment at various price points and up-selling additional capabilities over time.
- Develop marketing strategies in collaboration with the Public Safety marketing team and arrange user groups to maintain a strong user community.
- Proactively manage the Product Lifecycle, communicating it regularly to the company and customers, and build relationships with NECSWS colleagues to ensure products are joined up at both business process and technological levels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and research competitors, relevant products, market trends, and update the Forensics product strategy to meet the best commercial outcome.
Requirements:
- A demonstrable track record of working in the Public Safety sector, such as ex or retired Police Officer, Police Staff, Forensics Service, or other Public Safety supplier.
- Ability to hold an audience with customers, technical people, partners, and colleagues fully engaged and excited in furthering the product strategy and delivery.
- World-class product insight, commercially savvy, and excellent research skills to inform the best product strategies.
- Decision maker able to make tough decisions in the best interests of the product, market, customer, and company.
