We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Analyst I to join our team at M&G plc. As a key member of our Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our Life and Wealth businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with our Group Code of Conduct and embedding desired behaviours.
- Be personally accountable for identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks within your area of responsibility.
- Lead on the operational risk engagement with the Business Area on all operational risk matters and bring specialists in as required.
- Represent Operational Risk at Business Area specific governance committees, risk forums, or team meetings.
- Lead on the oversight and guidance of Business Area implementation of Operational Risk Framework.
- Develop and maintain a positive, respectful, and constructive relationship between the first line and Operational Risk.
- Lead on the delivery of Business Area specific Operational Risk training.
- Lead, review, and challenge Business Area led root cause analysis.
- Oversight and guidance of major Business Area specific change management programmes.
- An experienced financial services professional with a strong background in Risk Management and control.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory framework for Non-Financial Risk Management and measurement within financial services.
- A good understanding of the risk environment facing Life Insurance and/or Wealth businesses.
- Strong presentation skills to senior level boards and committees.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Significant risk management experience within the financial services industry.
