Prospero Teaching is seeking ambitious Psychology graduates who are eager to gain paid work experience in education support. We are working closely with Special Needs schools in the area to provide graduate teaching assistants and learning support assistants to join their teams.

This opportunity offers excellent and valuable hands-on experience for those interested in child development, educational psychology, or teaching. You will provide group or 1:1 support with children aged between 5-16 years old who have additional needs, learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and/or speech and language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to children with additional needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, teachers, and other support staff
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years
