About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Lead to join our team at Merrifield Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective governance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of our corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide strategic support to our Board of Directors, including preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and distributing action items.
  • Manage our key corporate governance documents, including the Articles of Association and the Board Assurance Framework.
  • Develop and maintain our policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with our senior leadership team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate governance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including those related to corporate governance and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
