Reliability Shift Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Shift Engineer to join our team at Muller Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance and Optimization: Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard and optimized to deliver efficiency targets.
- Fault Diagnosis and Corrective Action: Use appropriate tools to diagnose faults and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaboration with Operators and Technicians: Work with operators and shift technicians to identify and implement standard equipment settings through effective trials.
- PM Compliance and Top Loss Actions: Actively lead and be action-focused in regard to PM compliance and top loss actions.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure equipment is maintained to operate safely and comply with engineering GMP and food safety standards.
- Energy Efficiency and Waste Reduction: Optimize spend through delivery of available and efficient filling lines, and reduce waste and opportunities to improve line and factory efficiency targets.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Delivery of PM targets and delivery of corrective actions % versus plan.
- Multi-Skilled Electrical and Mechanical: Strong engineering qualifications and background, with BTEC Level 3 (ONC) as a minimum.
- Knowledge of Filling Technology: Demonstrable knowledge of complex fast-moving clean environments (24/7- short life products).
- Technical Bias and Process Standardization: Strong technical bias and experience in standardizing processes and practices.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical, planning, communication, and organizing skills, with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Preventative Maintenance Techniques: Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques.
- Action-Oriented and Team Player: Action-oriented, with ability to drive and achieve challenging goals, and good team working skills and ability to work well individually.
- Paid Overtime: Paid overtime at 1.5x basic rate.
