Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately forecast and report financial data, collaborating with the Catering Manager to enhance profitability.
- Implement and uphold health and safety policies relevant to catering operations, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant.
- Proactively manage resources and adapt to business changes, including overseeing the temporary labor budget.
- Train and develop team members to ensure successful business operations now and in the future.
- Act as the representative for the Catering Manager during their absence.
- Monitor and ensure the delivery of high standards, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Handle customer complaints effectively, working closely with clients and staff to determine appropriate actions.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to foster high morale and motivation among staff.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to team members efficiently.
- Ensure all staff receive comprehensive training and support in their roles.
- Supervise temporary staff, focusing on their long-term development and addressing disciplinary matters as needed.
- Ensure all pre-arranged goods and services are delivered to meet customer satisfaction.
- Manage the temporary labor budget effectively.
- Participate in sales meetings to identify opportunities for new concepts in retail and hospitality offerings.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in a diverse catering environment or in a junior management role.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong numeracy and literacy skills, along with effective verbal and written communication.
