We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in the Adult Mental Health Service.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality care to patients across various environments. The role involves diagnosing, assessing, planning, and implementing patient-specific programs of care, as well as evaluating patient progress and altering treatment plans as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently as part of an interdisciplinary team to diagnose, assess, plan, and implement patient-specific programs of care.
  • Undertake complex assessments using profession-specific clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Function effectively across various environments, including wards, departments, and patients' homes, in changing and demanding conditions.
  • Use a comprehensive range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and carers.
  • Evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programs as necessary.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of the Adult Mental Health Service and its policies is essential.
