Position Overview:

Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or higher
- Proven experience in overseeing Child Protection and Health & Safety protocols
- Basic Food Hygiene Certification (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the childcare team, ensuring all personnel are well-versed in organizational policies and procedures.

2. Assist in the hiring process of childcare staff, manage onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development.

3. Lead the team in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) planning, ensuring a nurturing and secure environment for children's learning and development.

4. Maintain comprehensive records of children's observations, assessments, and developmental progress.

5. Manage promotional activities, including newsletters and open events.

6. Hold primary responsibility for Child Protection and Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

7. Advocate for diversity and equal opportunities within the childcare setting.

8. Set a positive example by working flexibly and upholding high standards of care and education.

Additional Information:
Ongoing training and support will be provided, along with opportunities for career advancement.

As this role involves working with children, candidates will undergo eligibility checks and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
