Overview:


We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a skilled Attorney to join the team at Law Staff Ltd, under the guidance of the Senior Litigation Manager.

The successful candidate will possess extensive legal expertise, particularly in property or banking and finance dispute resolution.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking to broaden their professional experience while taking on a leadership role to oversee a team of Paralegals.


For candidates with a background in property law, this role will involve a shift towards collaborating with financial institutions on loan enforcement matters.

The team handles a variety of contentious issues, including mortgage disputes, debt recovery (both secured and unsecured), lender liability cases, and the enforcement of security through LPA and fixed charge Receiverships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Paralegals to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Respond to client inquiries and facilitate the onboarding process for new clients.
  • Review and analyze loan agreements, debentures, and personal guarantees.
  • Provide legal advice and supervision on dispute matters, including legal opinions and evaluations of options and success probabilities.
  • Assess and strategize case evaluations to assist clients in making informed decisions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to enhance service delivery.
  • Keep abreast of legal developments and conduct thorough research on specific legal queries.
  • Draft settlement agreements and consent orders as necessary.
  • Prepare briefs for counsel.
  • Manage contested possession claims effectively.
  • Oversee management information (MI) reporting.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a personable approach.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks while managing workload efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE or substantial experience in Commercial law (essential).
