Director of Recruitment and Enrolment

The Director of Recruitment and Enrolment provides strategic leadership for all aspects of recruitment, admissions, and strategic enrolment management for the Beedie School of Business Undergraduate Business Program. This role develops and evaluates effective business processes, rules, policies, and procedures; and develops, plans, manages, and implements strategies for the recruitment of qualified Undergraduate students from local, national, and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate admissions processes and practices within the school to ensure high standards of admissions assessment are achieved.
- Collaborate with the supervisor in long-term planning to define the goals and objectives of the unit.
- Participate in the development and implementation of all prospective marketing and communications initiatives for Undergraduate Business Programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective students, parents, and school administrators.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the recruitment and admissions team to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for applicants.
A Master's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline and four years of related experience, including experience in admissions, academic program planning, development, and operations; marketing; communications; and student recruitment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Expert understanding of strategic enrolment management principles, with excellent knowledge of university policies and regulations related to student admissions, registration, recruitment, and retention.
- Comprehensive understanding of Canadian and international secondary and post-secondary education systems, as well as the ability to navigate these systems to support student recruitment and enrolment.
- Proficient in the principles and practices of marketing, communications, and public relations, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and promote academic programs.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to integrate and analyze data to inform decisions.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills, with extensive experience in strategic planning, financial budgeting, and effective communication (verbal and written).
