Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at 3dgroup. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all on-site machinery, being reactive to breakdowns and using Planned Maintenance Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns in machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
  • Use Planned Maintenance Systems to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues
  • Develop and implement cost-reductive changes to improve efficiency
  • Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
  • Follow all food hygiene and product quality control measures
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve problems and improve processes
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineer
  • Familiarity with Siemens (s7) Allen Bradley PLC's programming and fault finding
  • Experience of belt conveyor systems, vibratory conveyor systems, Multivac Tray sealers and Thermoformers, Sandiacre (Hayssen) bagging equipment, metal detection & checkweigher systems, palletisers
  • Experience of refrigeration equipment, boiler operation and control, and Fanuc robotics
  • Past experience of working in a food production environment
  • Positive attitude, able to deal with challenges and changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership, planning, and prioritisation skills
  • Good attention to detail
