Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Suffolk. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our process roadmap, fostering creativity within the team, and ensuring the process capability and toolset stays at the forefront of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process development roadmaps to ensure process capability and toolset stays at the forefront of technology.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team to tackle upcoming obstacles and sustain our position as a technology leader.
  • Day-to-day operation owner of a defined process tool set, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
  • Direct technicians/operators to process R&D and manufacturing wafers to meet schedules and quality standards.
  • Develop, modify, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and procedures to enable higher productivity, reduced scrap, and improved quality.
  • Setup and monitor statistical process control (SPC) charts to ensure process stability and control.
  • Assist in creating building blocks within process modules to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply various statistical methods to improve reproducibility and manufacturability through Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, and Gage R&R studies.
  • Document tool operation and process details and write standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Engineering/Process Development in a Fab environment.
  • Hands-on experience in photolithography processing and process equipment operation.
  • Experience with process equipment and associated metrology tools.
  • Track record of using structured problem-solving techniques to resolve complex process issues.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant subject, such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience of SPC processes and statistical analysis.
