WeDoData is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exams Officer to join their team in a secondary school and sixth form in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the school's examination processes for GCSE and BTEC A-Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process exam entries for students, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Organize and manage the invigilation team, providing training and support as needed
  • Develop and distribute exam and invigilation timetables, ensuring smooth execution
  • Coordinate results day activities, ensuring a seamless experience for students and staff
  • Communicate exam information to parents and students, maintaining clear and transparent communication
  • Liaise with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to ensure special arrangements are made for students with disabilities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing GCSE and A-Level examinations in a school or college setting
  • Strong understanding of Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt
