Job Role: HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Driver to join our team at Proman Recruitment. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for making bulk collections and deliveries between various sites and customers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and delivering goods between various sites and customers nationwide
  • Operating a Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E vehicle
  • Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Managing trailer swaps and live unloading and reloading of trailers as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence (no DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum 12 months of ongoing Class 1 driver work experience
  • No more than 12 current points for infringements on your tachograph card

Working Hours:

  • All shifts commence between 12:00 and 20:00
  • Shifts average 10 hours in length
  • Flexibility is required

Pay Rates:

  • Pay rates for Class 1 Driver: PAYE, Pre 12 weeks
  • Midweek: STD - £20.40 (£ holiday accrual)
  • OT after 8hrs - £27.39 (£ holiday accrual)
  • Saturday: STD - £25.65 (£ holiday accrual)
  • OT after 8hrs - £27.39 (£ holiday accrual)
  • Sunday: £28.51 (£25.44+ holiday accrual)
  • Bank Holiday: £37.07 (£ holiday accrual)
