Position Overview

Our client specializes in the design and construction of a variety of commercial and military vessels, adhering to the highest standards of quality.

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Composite Vessel Fabricator to become a part of the team, contributing to the company's continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Composite Vessel Fabricator will engage in a wide array of composite-related activities on newly constructed vessels. Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Preparation of molds and components for production
  • Installation of internal and external structural elements
  • Assembly of custom composite components into the vessel framework, including sub-moldings and lifting mechanisms

Additionally, the role involves:

  • Preparation for gel coat repairs and painting processes, including filling, fairing, and priming
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in new build composite construction, including polyester, vinylester, and epoxy materials
  • Marine qualifications are preferred
  • A background in high-quality custom manufacturing
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team on vessel projects, including planning personal tasks and managing inventory
