HVAC Ventilation Specialist

Field-Based - Door to Door Compensation

£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Vehicle + Performance Bonus + Enhanced Overtime

Are you an HVAC ventilation specialist with a background in commissioning, validating, and verifying ventilation systems? This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skill set and broaden your professional experience.

The organization focuses on testing, validation, and verification services for ventilation systems, particularly in healthcare environments. As a small yet ambitious team, they are seeking a skilled HVAC Ventilation Specialist to join them in their growth journey.

This role will involve traveling to various sites across the North of England to conduct site assessments, perform remedial tasks, and service pre-installed ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be flexible, with the willingness to work evenings and weekends, for which they will be compensated accordingly.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the verification and validation of ventilation systems, preferably within a healthcare context, and will hold their CSA L2 certification, along with a strong track record in the HVAC sector. A positive attitude and readiness to work outside standard hours when necessary are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys, re-balance systems, and test critical care ventilation in healthcare facilities, adhering to HTM03-01 standards.
  • Travel throughout the UK to perform assessments, service systems, and interpret technical drawings for optimal ventilation solutions.
  • Engage with clients, manage project communications, and submit precise reports while following health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in training initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the company's expertise.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrates a proven history in the HVAC industry.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of HTM03-01 standards.
  • Has experience in validating and verifying ventilation systems in healthcare settings or holds a Commissioning Specialist Association grade 2/3.
  • Willing to work away from home and during weekends as required.
