Contract Type: Permanent (Term-Time Only - working 38 working weeks)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) in getting to and from educational settings. This role involves providing transportation and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our students.
The ideal candidate will have a natural rapport with children and young people, and an awareness and understanding of special educational needs. No formal qualifications are required, but full training and support will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
This is a term-time only position, with hours varying depending on the route. Our core times are Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon, typically between the hours of 7.00am-10:00am and 2.00pm-5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide transportation to and from educational settings for children and young people with SEN
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for students
- Build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Work collaboratively with educational staff to support the needs of students
No formal qualifications are required, but a natural rapport with children and young people, and an awareness and understanding of special educational needs are essential. You will be provided with full training and support to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
