Job Title: Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing commercial gas, heating, combustion, and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to exceed customer expectations.
  2. Provide building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
  3. Respond to client callouts as detailed on the callout rota.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  5. Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' heating systems.
  6. Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
  7. Monitor contractors and their workmanship to ensure relevant standards are met.
  8. Ensure that all heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in commercial environments providing gas, combustion, and heating related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, and installation.
  2. Domestic Core Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
  3. Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
  4. City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or related engineering discipline
  5. Gas Safe Registered
  6. IPAF / PASMA
  7. Full UK Driving License.
