We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children and young people living with mental health conditions, Autism, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support children in all aspects of daily living, including maintaining relationships with friends and family, and encouraging integration in the community.
- Help children develop and maintain daily routines, including personal care, education, and leisure activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children, promoting their emotional well-being and resilience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- A manual UK driving licence is required to use company vehicles.
- Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins from 10pm to 7am.
- Rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Desirable: Children's Residential level 3 qualification.
- Competitive hourly rates, including enhanced rates for qualified applicants.
- 2 weeks mandatory induction/training programme.
