Job Overview

The Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Operational Team Lead in our Mental Health of Learning Disability Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a safe, effective, and high-quality service to patients with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide operational management and leadership to a team of clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing processes to ensure a safe and high-quality service is delivered.
  • Liaise with other Directorates and external agencies to promote and enhance patient experience and recovery.
  • Work closely with the local authority, Community Learning Disability Team, and other statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the MHLD Service Manager in embedding the quality strategy, ensuring systems are in place to deliver high performance and quality patient outcomes.
  • Be responsible for a small clinical complex caseload, attending complex professional meetings and Best Interest meetings.
