We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Nexgen Group, a leading provider of professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas in our static sites in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Dust, damp wipe, or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
- Floor Care: Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops, mop floors with wet or damp mops, and hover carpeted areas.
- Waste Management: Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste material to designated collection points.
- Cleaning Supplies: Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use and replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks, as well as communal kitchen areas.

Work Environment:
