We are seeking an experienced AHU Estimating Engineer to join our team at Airedale by Modine. As a key member of our Estimating team, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for our precision cooling systems.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize estimation software and tools to generate precise and competitive quotations.
- Review schedules, specifications, and drawings to ensure technical selections comply with customer requirements and current regulations.
- Collaborate with senior estimators, external sales teams, contractors, and consultants to maximize opportunities for the business.
- Meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and with customers.
- Identify and develop new customers to drive business growth.
- Previous experience with AHU estimation software is advantageous.
- Engineering qualification (HNC or above) and GCSE in Maths and English (grade C minimum or equivalent) are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat is required.
- The ideal candidate will be a confident and self-motivated individual with the ability to innovate while adhering to policies and procedures.
