Your Role: Learning and Development Manager

As our Learning and Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. You will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing comprehensive learning strategies aligned with business objectives, and designing engaging training programs that ensure compliance and enhance employee skills.

  • Analyze Training Needs: Conduct thorough assessments to identify skill gaps and areas requiring development within the organization.
  • Develop Strategic Learning Plans: Create innovative training strategies that directly support our business goals and contribute to overall organizational success.
  • Design Engaging Training Materials: Develop a variety of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules, ensuring they are clear, concise, and effective.
  • Deliver Technical Training: Conduct technical training sessions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Learning Team: Lead and mentor a team of learning professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee Apprenticeship Programs: Manage our apprenticeship program, guiding apprentices through their development journey and ensuring they acquire the necessary skills for success.
  • Coordinate External Training Providers: Collaborate with external training providers to source and manage specialized training programs as needed.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs, measuring their impact on employee performance and organizational outcomes. Analyze cost-benefit ratios to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Onboarding New Employees: Design and deliver a comprehensive onboarding program for new employees, integrating them into our company culture and equipping them with the knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Manage Training Budget: Effectively manage the training budget, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize return on investment.
  • Stay Current in Industry Trends: Remain abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches into our programs.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Ensure all training activities comply with established quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
