Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a complex Oracle Cloud Finance and HR system programme. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in implementing Oracle Cloud Finance and HR modules in the UK public sector and a proven track record of delivering ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of the overall programme, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-friendly results.
  • Review key activities and milestones, report on overall progress, and help address key issues and blockers.
  • Manage risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate the production and development of a programme Business case to clearly manage the scope of the Programme.
  • Plan and allocate resources to deliver the re-implementation plan, including internal resources, interims, and third parties.
  • Represent the Programme Director at key meetings, such as programme board, design authority, and other governance meetings.
  • Lead the workstream leads and all hands meeting in supporting delivery of the programme.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to workstream leads and other team members in resolving issues.
  • Directly and indirectly, support the pastoral care of the project team.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience implementing Oracle Cloud Finance and HR modules in the UK public sector.
  • Extensive experience as programme manager in delivering ERP implementations.
  • Extensive experience of identifying and resolving typical problems and challenges encountered when implementing Oracle Cloud Finance and HR.
  • Experience in leading diverse delivery chains, including client, interim, and third-party resources.
  • Extensive experience in managing teams, including both managing senior stakeholders and coaching teams in what can sometimes be a pressured environment due to project issues/timescales/savings pressures.
  • Project management and Oracle Cloud certifications are desirable.
