Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Elective Surgical Ward team at our Exeter Hospital. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, while also contributing to the development of our ward's clinical practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.

Person Specification

  • Registered with the appropriate governing body, with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Post-registration experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of clinical practices and procedures.
