Position Overview
EKFB is excited to announce an opportunity for a Site Engineer to contribute to significant civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will oversee junior engineers and play a crucial role in construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff on-site.
- Collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to effectively allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials for M&E works.
- Engage with the setting out team to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Facilitate the performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors while addressing technical challenges in partnership with senior team members.
- Coordinate various contractors and timelines to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Ensure that the team has access to all necessary information and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Assist in the creation of project schedules, progress reports, resource allocation plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of an HNC/Degree in Construction or M&E related fields, or equivalent qualifications.
- Mandatory CSCS certification - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager, or Gold - Supervisor.
- Preferred experience in structural engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Site Engineering activities, along with construction supervision capabilities.
- Essential experience in highways or structures.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
