Company Overview
Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Service Technician for a prominent client. This position involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of various products, primarily conducted from an office environment with opportunities for both domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support before and after sales
  • Conduct servicing and repairs of equipment both in-house and on-site, both nationally and internationally
  • Foster and manage customer relationships, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues
  • Assist in overseeing service parts inventory levels
  • Deliver training on service procedures for staff and distributors
  • Facilitate installations and provide user training

Qualifications
Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a service-oriented role, preferably with laboratory equipment.

Essential Skills
  • Comprehensive experience in delivering service and support to clients
  • Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical manuals
  • Competent in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid UK driving license
