Working within the Insights team of corporate data automation and transformation specialists, the successful candidate will deliver intelligence projects to a varied client base, as well as assist with the support requirements of existing clients. If you are interested in being at the forefront of your field, working within a team that achieves innovative outcomes for clients, this could be the ideal job opportunity for you.
As a seasoned Accountant and Business Intelligence reporting specialist, you will combine your technical accounting knowledge with an ability to translate reporting requirements into tangible reporting solutions. The successful candidate will be an Accountant (either Qualified or Qualified By Experience) with at least two years' experience and will also have experience using Microsoft Power BI (or a similar business intelligence tool).
Key skills and qualifications for this role include:
- Strong data modeling skills
- ETL skills
- DAX knowledge
- Strong knowledge of key financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
The ideal candidate will also be an Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, including the development of Visual Basic macros, and have experience in multiple finance systems. Hutcheon Mearns Ltd is an incredibly flexible employer and will consider full-time and part-time candidates for this role.
