About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Thornford Park, a 130-bedded independent hospital providing medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a positive environment for our service users and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hospital, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the service are spotless and meet required security standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining good working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Participate in mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.
  • Undertake any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
  • Enjoy cleaning and take pride in a job well done.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Be a good communicator and have good attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
