Job Summary

Nightingale Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead the strategic development of our Eating Disorders group therapy programme. As a key member of our Therapy Services team, you will be responsible for implementing new therapy modalities and modes of delivery, while managing a caseload of patients and providing clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Eating Disorders group therapy programme, including the design and delivery of new therapy modalities and modes of delivery.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, including formulating, planning, and evaluating interventions.
  • Liaise with other lead therapists to ensure effective collaboration and coordination across Therapy Services.
  • Recruit and select highly skilled staff within the EDU therapies service, in collaboration with the Head of Therapies.
  • Provide clinical supervision to team members, as well as managerial supervision and performance management.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Clinical supervision skills to work with psychology assistants and/or therapists on placement.
  • Relevant qualification in Counselling/Clinical Psychology.
  • Experience working within an inpatient mental health setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrable experience supervising an allied therapy team.
  • Skills and experience in conducting clinical assessments, including risk management.
  • Prior experience within a private healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing HR processes, including performance management.
Working Arrangements
  • Full-time or part-time position available.
  • Monday to Friday working hours.
