Job Title: Data and Solutions Analyst

Join ICBC Standard Bank as a Data and Solutions Analyst and contribute to the success of our Global Markets division.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Solutions Analyst to support our FIC Business Managers in delivering, communicating, and monitoring against business strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical IT skills, including programming languages such as Python and Java, and experience with data modeling and manipulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IT solutions for productivity, efficiency, automation, and business control.
  • Deliver key business intelligence to the FIC Business Managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly business updates for governance forums.
  • Ensure that all material business intelligence is escalated appropriately to senior management.
Requirements
  • Essential programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Strong numeracy skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Capacity to absorb information and acquire new skills.
