Make a Difference in the Lives of Students with Special Educational Needs

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants for day-to-day supply roles across SEN schools in Hull. As a compassionate and adaptable individual, you will provide support to students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support to students with SEN, assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings and student needs, offering tailored support as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, helping them to build confidence and achieve their potential.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism.
  • Support students with personal care, mobility, and other daily activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various school environments.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field are advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
