Culinary Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Athena Care Homes. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire catering service within our care homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Culinary Director to take on a leadership role and lead our kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
• Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations, as well as maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with our care teams to understand the nutritional needs of our residents and develop menus that meet those needs.
• Manage kitchen budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Culinary Director in a care environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and flavor.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
